The Grade Management Unit is mainly responsible for administering the matters relating to the Chauffeur, Special Driver and Motor Driver grades, including conduct and discipline, staff relations and training. The Unit also organises staff motivation schemes, e.g. Ten Outstanding Drivers Award and Safe Driving Award, with a view to promoting a sense of quality land transport services.

The establishment of Chauffeur^*, Special Driver and Motor Driver Grades are as follows: -

^* Chauffeur Grade comprises three ranks, i.e. Senior Personal Chauffeur, Personal Chauffeur and Chauffeur.
