Departments can consult GLD on the purchase and use of all printing plant, machinery and equipment (GR 600). For the purchase of non-standard equipment items costing more than $50,000 (Financial Circular No. 4/93 refers), we will provide technical advice to enable departments to:
(a) draw up a
specification for procurement purposes;
and
(b) evaluate tender offers.
